Gums and Fresh Breath

We believe that there is no need to suffer from gum disease and that everybody can have fresh breath. Gum disease is caused by bacteria which collect between the teeth, along the gum line and under the gums.

We check and measure your gums thoroughly on your first visit and make sure that even the very early signs of gum disease are detected and treated. We use the PreViser system to determine risk of future gum disease. We know that 10% of patients are at risk of developing severe gum disease, 10% are resistant to the disease, the rest fall somewhere in between. Until now it has been difficult to decide who is at risk. There are many different factors at work and using this innovative system we can assess exactly how best to treat each of our patients to prevent this very destructive disease. Data is submitted online and each patient receives a very detailed report.
